Mr. Chu is the Global co-CEO and co-founder of L Catterton. Prior to forming L Catterton, Mr. Chu held a variety of senior positions with First Pacific Company, a Hong Kong-based publicly listed investment and management company, which he joined in 1983. His positions at First Pacific included Vice President and Corporate Treasurer, First Pacific (Hong Kong); Director of Finance, Hagemeyer N.V. (Netherlands); Vice President and Treasurer, Hibernia Bank (San Francisco); Chief Operating Officer, Comtrad, Inc. (New York); and Chief Operating Officer, Doyle Graf Raj (New York), an advertising firm.

Mr. Chu received a B.A. with highest honours in Psychology and Economics from Bates College, where he served for 18 years as a member of its Board of Trustees. He is also a member of the Committee of 100, the leading Chinese-American philanthropic organisation.

Mr. Dahnke is the Global co-CEO of L Catterton. Mr. Dahnke has a broad range of business experience in private equity, consulting, management, and finance. Prior to joining L Catterton more than a decade ago, he was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Capital Partners and at AEA Investors, where he led AEA's consumer products investing efforts. Previously, Mr. Dahnke was the Chief Executive Officer of infoUSA, a leading publicly traded provider of business and consumer marketing products and services. Prior to joining infoUSA, Mr. Dahnke served clients on an array of strategic and operational issues as a Partner at McKinsey & Company. His early career also includes experience in the Merger Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and with General Motors.

Mr. Dahnke received a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He also received academic honours while earning an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Thakran is Chairman & Managing Partner, L Catterton Asia.

Mr. Thakran has been the Group President of LVMH South & South East Asia & Middle East since September 2007.

Prior to his time at LVMH, he held senior management positions at the Swatch Group, Nike and Tata Group, based in various global locations. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Thakran is also the Executive Director of the following companies: Crystal Jade, Charles & Keith, Seafolly, R.M. Williams, Jones the Grocer, Trendy, 2XU, Dondup and Genesis Luxury.

Narayan Ramachandran

Mr. Narayan Ramachandran oversees investment strategy and is responsible for the fund's investments in India and West Asia. He has 30 years of investment experience. Mr. Ramachandran is also the non-Executive Chairman of RBL Bank, a new-age bank on a fast growth trajectory. He is Chairman and Co-Founder of InKlude Labs, a social business enterprise working in the field of education and public health.

He was previously Country Head of Morgan Stanley India, leading all of the Group's businesses.

Prior to these roles, Mr. Ramachandran was the Co-Head and Lead Portfolio Manager of Morgan Stanley’s Global Emerging Markets and Global Asset Allocation teams, managing over $25 billion in assets. He spent several years at Rogers, Casey and Associates (now Segal Rogers Casey). He began his career at Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Ramachandran holds an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Michigan and received his undergraduate education from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation (CFA) and writes a bi-weekly column for a leading Indian financial daily. Mr. Ramachandran also serves as a member of the Impact Investors Council in India.

Mr. Corne is Executive Chairman of L Catterton Australia. Prior to his appointment to this position Mr. Corne was Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton Oceania, responsible for all aspects of company's business operations and strategy for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

During his twenty eight year tenure with Louis Vuitton, Mr. Corne also held the position of Senior Vice President and CFO the LVMH Fashion Group America’s from 1998 to 2002 based in New York City. In addition Mr Corne was appointed for a six month period in 2006 as acting Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton North America.

Mr. Corne’s professional career commenced at KPMG where he was a Senior Manager in the Private Business Services Division. Mr Corne is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Currently Mr Corne is Non-Executive Director of 2XU Pty Ltd and Seafolly Pty Ltd and is Non-Executive Chairman of RM Williams Pty Ltd. In addition Mr Corne is Chairman of The Cure Cancer Australia Foundation.

Mr. Huang has over 15 years of private equity experience in the US and in China. Since joining as a founding member of L Catterton Asia in 2010, Mr. Huang has been directly responsible for the Greater China region as well as an Investment Committee member for all Funds. Previously, Mr. Huang was with D.E. Shaw & Co., Affinity Equity Partners, and Intel Capital in Hong Kong. He started his career at Russell Miller Inc. in San Francisco.

Mr. Huang sits on the board of a number of retail and consumer companies including Trendy International, Marubi Skincare, and Sasseur Outlets. Mr. Huang is a CFA designation holder, and has an MBA from the University of San Francisco and BA from Ningbo University in China.
Sanjay Gujral

Sanjay Gujral

Mr. Gujral has over a decade of private equity investing experience, built on a strong foundation of myriad sell-side and advisory experiences. He joined L Catterton Asia to lead the Indian advisory business in early 2011, and moved into a regional role in Singapore in mid-2012.

Prior to L Catterton Asia, Mr. Gujral was an Executive Director in the private equity advisory business of Everstone Capital (2006-2011), a premier India & SE Asia-focussed alternative asset manager. Before moving to the buy-side in 2006, Mr. Gujral spent over a decade advising clients on various strategic and financial matters, while working with Arthur Andersen (1995-2002), Ernst & Young (2002-2004) and Ambit Corporate Finance (2004-2006) in India.

Mr. Gujral holds a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (1995) and is a commerce graduate from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University (1993).

Mr. Markl is the Managing Director, Operations of L Catterton Asia and oversees the Value-Add initiatives within its portfolio. Prior to joining L Catterton, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of South-East Asia’s largest E-Commerce fashion company, Zalora, which was sold to Global Fashion Group, the world’s leading online fashion platform for emerging markets backed by Rocket Internet. During Mr. Markl’s tenure at the Company, Zalora achieved more than USD 230 million net sales within its first 4 years. Mr. Markl was also responsible for launching Zalora’s private label, which was solely sold online and achieved more than USD 60 million net-sales per annum. Previously, Mr. Markl spent close to a decade at McKinsey & Company, based both Germany and Singapore. While at McKinsey, he advised clients in the high-tech and private-equity sector across multiple countries, including Australia, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and The Philippines. Mr. Markl was a core member of McKinsey’s Corporate Finance & Strategy practice and a key contributing author of the 5th edition of McKinsey’s published Valuation book.

Mr. Markl received his MBA in Economics with a major in Finance from the University Nuremburg, Germany.

Mr. Chan is the Managing Director of L Catterton Asia for North East Asia region (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea). He has over 18 years of experience in private equity, M&A and management consulting. He has built a pan-Asian expertise and cross-cultural skills from working in Greater China, Korea, Japan, and South East Asia over his career.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Chan was the Director and Head of China office for Crescent Point focusing on growth capital investment in China. He was also the Director of Lone Star Asia-Pacific on investments in Taiwan and Management Consultant with McKinsey & Co. providing strategic and corporate finance advisory to companies in Asia region. Mr. Chan is a board director of Taiwan-listed DR.WU Skincare Ltd., a board observer of Korea-listed YG Entertainment and an independent board director of Nasdap listed Baozun e-Commerce Inc.

Dr. Wang has over a decade of experience in private equity investing, strategic consulting and consumer related sectors. He has gained and built a strong foundation of consumer expertise, analytical capabilities and investment expertise from his professional experience in the UK, US, China and South East Asia.

Prior to L Catterton Asia, Dr. Wang was a Senior Associate with McKinsey & Company, Shanghai office, where he served on multiple international and domestic institutions for strategic, operational and M&A related projects. Dr. Wang also worked as Scientist and Manager for the Fabric & Home Care Division in Procter & Gamble and led numerous cross-boarder consumer innovation projects.

Dr. Wang is a board member of the China Sasseur Group, GXG Group and board alternative member for CÉ LA VI company.

Dr. Wang holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (2008), D.Phil. in Chemistry from Oxford University (2002) and B.Sc. from Peking University, China (1998). And, he is an Executive Member of the Finance Division, All Chinese Returned Scholars National Association.

Previously, Mr. Huh was Senior Managing Director at CVC Asia and Managing Director at Standard Chartered Private Equity. Mr. Huh started his career as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney in New York.

Prior to that, Mr. Ong led the finance function in Sindicatum Carbon & Energy Management and Arisaig Partners. Prior to joining Arisaig Partners, Mr. Ong was at PricewaterhouseCoopers specialised in audit of financial services business.

Mr. Ong is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and earned the Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University.

Ms. Chee has over 16 years of human resource partnering experience, specialising in retail sector. She was the Regional Head of Human Resources (South East Asia) for global beauty retailer Sephora and held a corporate role as LVMH Human Resource Group Coordinator for businesses based in India whereby she created platform for Group synergies through promotion and implementation of talent development and engagement initiatives.

Prior to these appointments, Ms. Chee held several business partnering roles with Dairy Farm Group, Raffles Medical Group and Borders. She holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce (major in Human Resource and Industrial Relations) awarded by Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

Ricky Huang

Ricky Huang is an Executive Director at L Catterton Asia, focusing on the Chinese markets. Mr. Huang has 15 years of financial management and operating experience in Asia with large multi-national and private-equity backed companies. Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Mr. Huang was the Chief Financial Officer for Sasseur Group, a portfolio company of L Catterton and prior portfolio company of Warburg Pincus. Prior to joining Sasseur, he was an Executive Director at Daiwa Capital Markets where he provided financial advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and initial public offerings to companies in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Mr. Huang has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Jinsheng Group, a Bain Capital portfolio company, where he prepared the company for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Mr. Huang has also spent time working with Warburg Pincus as a member of their operating team. His prior work experience includes senior financial management positions at JC Decaux and Cellstar Shaghai.

Mr. Huang received a MSc. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham and received his undergraduate degree from Shanghai University.
Sarah Ho

Ms. Ho has 25 years of experience and is currently the Finance Director at L Catterton Asia. Prior to this, she spent 12 years at EDBI Pte Ltd as Senior Finance Director, the corporate investment arm of Singapore Economic Development Board, with multi-billion dollars in AUM. At EDBI, Ms. Ho was a Divestment Committee Member and Director on numerous Fund Boards. Leading a finance team, she was also in-charge of international tax planning and formulating policies. Prior to joining EDBI, Ms. Ho was a Finance Manager in publicly listed diversified companies in Food & Beverage, brewery, property development and investment and hotel chain business. She was involved in the successful IPO of the hotel chain, private placement of funds, bonus share issue, managing interest rate and foreign exchange risks and feasibility study for new joint ventures. Ms. Ho also started her career as auditor in the Big Four Accounting Firms where she led the on-site due diligence review of a manufacturing acquisition target in various countries.

Ms. Paranjpe is Executive Director at L Catterton Asia, focusing on the India and Middle East markets and portfolio. Ms. Paranjpe has over ten years of experience in investment management and corporate advisory across Mumbai, Singapore and London. Ms Paranjpe, joined L Catterton Asia in 2009 as an Associate and worked on the first two investments made by the Fund in Sincere Watch Limited and Charles & Keith Group out of Singapore before relocating to India in 2011 to focus on India investments of the Fund. She has been involved in sourcing, executing, monitoring and exiting the Fund's investments in India.

Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Ms. Paranjpe was an Analyst at Lehman Brothers/Nomura, Mumbai, India, in the Principle Investments Group and focused on making growth investments in India.

Mr. Chen is the Senior Vice President at L Catterton Asia. He possesses over 15 years in operating experience across merchandising, sales, marketing, business development and general management in consumer goods, cosmetic, and luxury industry. Mr. Chen spent 5 years in the French retailer Auchan group as hypermarket GM. After that, he joined Sephora and built up China business as Regional GM for 6 years. Before moving to Claire’s, he spend 4 years in Coach China as Regional Director, successful buying back China franchise business and building the main business growth engine for Coach worldwide. Prior to joining L Catterton, he worked as Operation Director in Claire’s China.

Mr. Chen holds an MBA from New York Fordham University and Peking University.

Toshitaka (Taka) Shimizu is the Senior Vice President and Japan representative of L Catterton Asia in the North-East Asia team. Prior to joining L Catterton, Mr. Shimizu had 10 years of Japan private equity experience in Japan, as a Principal at Rising Japan Equity and Director at CLSA Capital Partners Japan buyout fund where he was deeply involved in Japanese consumer retail deals. Before moving into private equity, he started his career with Deloitte Australia as an auditor, and in the marketing finance division of British American Tobacco Japan.

He holds Chartered Accounts (CA) qualification and graduated with a dual degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
Saurabh Bajpai

Mr. Bajpai is a Vice President at L Catterton Asia focusing on South East Asia investments in Singapore. Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Mr. Bajpai served as an Associate within the Private Equity Department of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in Abu Dhabi where he invested in primary fund, secondary, distressed debt and co-investment opportunities. Previously, Mr. Bajpai was an investment banking Associate at Lazard Freres in New York City where he began his career as an Analyst focusing on restructuring, debt placement and mergers and acquisitions advisory in the telecom, media and technology sectors. During business school, Mr. Bajpai spent his summer with L Catterton Asia in Singapore and with the IFC Asset Management Company in Washington D.C.

Mr. Bajpai graduated from the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Bajpai holds an M.B.A. (with honors) from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Donnadieu is a Vice President at L Catterton Asia, focusing on investments in South East Asia. Mr. Donnadieu has 10 years of private equity, corporate strategy and consumer investment experience across Asia-Pacific and Europe. Prior to joining L Catterton, Mr. Donnadieu was a Senior M&A Manager for Accor Asia-Pacific, where he was involved in the sourcing, execution and structuring of over 40 equity investment and divestment transactions. He was also leading a number of portfolio restructuring, strategic alliances, and turnaround management activities in the region. Previously, Mr. Donnadieu held various roles in financial services, beauty and cosmetics, and entrepreneurial ventures in France, Brazil, Vietnam and China.

Mr Donnadieu holds a MBA from INSEAD, a MSc in Corporate Finance from Queensland University of Technology, and a Grande Ecole B.Sc. in Management (Honours) from NEOMA Business School. He is certified Chinese Mandarin speaker.

Ms. Doreen is a Vice President of the Investment Team at L Catterton. She joined L Catterton in 2010 as one of the first members in L Catterton China office. Ms. Doreen has been involved in the investment, portfolio management and exits in most of the China portfolios. Prior to joining L Catterton, she was a Senior Associate in Advisory Team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was involved in the deal assessment and valuation analysis.

Ms. Foo is a Vice President at L Catterton Asia, focusing on fundraising, investor relations and investor reporting. Prior to her current role, Ms. Foo was a Vice President in Finance at L Catterton Asia and helped set up and build the financial and compliance reporting processes. She was formerly a Manager from PricewaterhouseCoopers and worked with financial institutions on business process improvement and internal controls design and implementation.

Ms. Foo is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore, and holds the B.A. Accountancy (with honors) from the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University.

Ms Germann is a Vice President at L Catterton Australia and is on secondment in L Catterton’s portfolio company Seafolly, as the Global Strategy Director. Ms Germann has 10 years of private equity, corporate development and investment banking experience in Sydney, New York and Auckland. Prior to joining L Catterton, Ms Germann was an Associate Director for Ironbridge Capital, a Australian mid-market private equity fund, where she worked closely with portfolio company senior management to improve the businesses in the lead up to exit; in addition to managing the execution of investments in the entry and exit phases. Prior to working in private equity, Ms Germann was an investment banker at Credit Suisse (Sydney) and Macquarie (New York and Auckland) where she primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions, restructures and recapitalisations in the telecommunications, media, entertainment and technology industries.

Ms Germann has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She was awarded a scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley where she completed her Law degree, as part of the Education Abroad Program.

Ms. Gorra is a Vice President at L Catterton, focusing on driving growth and international expansions across the portfolio companies and internal operations. Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Ms. Gorra was Vice President at Gerson Lerhman Group, where she expanded the research platform across Asia. Ms. Gorra was formerly a Vice President at Sandler O'Neill + Partners, the leading USA boutique investment bank servicing financial institutions, in both the Equity Research and Capital Markets divisions.

Ms. Gorra holds a B.A. in International Relations with a focus on Economics from Tufts University.

Mr. Yeo is a Vice-President of Finance at L Catterton Asia. Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Mr. Yeo was a Vice-President, leading the Financial Planning and Analysis team in Asia for Commerzbank AG, Singapore. Prior to Commerzbank, he spent 2 years with Deutsche bank in Tokyo, Japan as a AVP where he achieved a Global CFO award for introducing a cost reduction and operational efficiency proposal. Prior to Deutsche bank, he served as a consultant to Goldman Sachs Realty Japan Ltd in Tokyo to develop and implement Activity Based Costing system.

Mr. Yeo received his B.A in Business (Accountancy) from RMIT University and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from Nanyang Technological University. He is a CPA (Australia).

Mr. Khandelwal is a Vice President at L Catterton Asia, focusing on investments in India and West Asia. Prior to joining L Catterton, he spent 6 years at India Equity Partners (IEP), an India focused sector agnostic PE fund. As a Vice-President at IEP, Mr. Khandelwal sourced and executed several transactions across consumer, logistics, renewable energy and financial services sectors. Prior to joining IEP, he worked as an Associate with the strategy team at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Prior to joining PwC, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst with Lehman Brothers covering the consumer sector.

Mr. Khandelwal received an MBA from Indian Institute of Management and a Bachelors in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, India.

Mr. Talwar is a Vice-President at L Catterton Asia, focusing on investments in India. Prior to joining L Catterton, he spent 2 years at Apollo Management. At Apollo, Mr. Talwar sourced and executed transactions for the fund in India across a variety of industries including industrials and chemicals. Prior to joining Apollo, he worked as an Associate with The Cypress Group in New York. Prior to joining Cypress, Mr. Talwar was an investment banking analyst in the Communications and Media group at Lehman Brothers in New York, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt capital raising. Prior to Lehman, Mr. Talwar was an Equity Research Associate with Morgan Stanley in New York covering stocks in the telecommunications sector.

Mr. Talwar received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics and BS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Magna cum Laude.

Mr. Xia is a Vice President at L Catterton Asia, focusing on investment opportunities in China. Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Mr. Xia was an investment banking analyst with Citigroup based in Hong Kong, where he worked on a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions with a focus on the technology, media and telecommunications sector.

Mr. Xia graduated cum laude from New York University – Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and General Accounting. Mr. Xia is native in English and Mandarin Chinese.

He has over 7 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, management consulting and law in New York, Sydney and Hong Kong respectively. Most recently, he was an Associate in Macquarie Capital's private equity arm in New York deploying Macquarie's balance sheet across a range of sectors including consumer retail, technology, healthcare, logistics and infrastructure. He is also a qualified lawyer in State and Federal jurisdictions of Australia, and has co-authored a book with a Justice of the Supreme Court of NSW.

Mr. Bilski received a MSc on full scholarship from Oxford University, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours I) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours I), majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Sydney.
